My mother and my uncle, Janice "Smith" Berry and her brother Martin Smith, Jr. just learned that Rose had passed. The last time they were together was at The Lamplighter in 2013 for their Class Reunion. They both have very fond memories of Rose. Peace be with You.

I have known Rose all my life and will miss her like I do my sister Mary Ann. Rose was like a family member to me, always there when she was needed. I knew I could count on Rose for comfort when my parents passed away and she was there when I got married, baptized my son at St. Ambrose and many other memorable occasions. We will all miss her voice in the choir. I visited with her numerous times when I returned to Avonmore and always had a wonderful visit. I know God has received Rose with open arms and will give her a big well deserved hug. May you find peace and eternal rest. I love you with all my heart and will remember you for the rest of my life. God bless Rose.

I have been thinking of Rose a lot these past few weeks. We worked together many hours at the Avonmore senior center. We laughed and sang...and prayed together. so smart, so spunky. with tears , I wish her peace.
