Jodi and Jeff,

Your father was an extraordinary man. We have been friends through ham radio and Masonic activities since the late 60’s. We first met at Pappy Crisswells in North Apollo through ham radio.
We would bs, have a Marsh Wheeling, and share a half gallon of ice cream. He could sit there carrying on a conversation and listen to cw and know what each were saying.

In our later years we would venture to the Coudersport Consistory bi-annually for the Reunion. He and I would always climb the stairs to the balcony, 2 flights os stairs. This continued through June of this year. The view was better and occasionally one would nod off. We would share a sweet with my uncle, until his passing, and your Uncle Bill. If those walls could talk, at times the conversation was about politics and it was a lot of laughter like school kids.
Needless to say, his wit, conversation, and friendship will be sorely missed.

Dear Jeffery and Jodi.
Your dad was a volunteer for my wife and me at the Kiski Junction railroad and we continued contact after my retirement through email and visits form him and his brother to run model trains on my layout and go trackside to talk and watch the real thing.
He was a powerhouse and loved by everyone at the KJR. I have a few pictures of him from the railroad and some of his visits here. I would be happy to email them to you if you want them.
I will miss him and remember him for the rest of my life, and hope he is one of my first contacts after I die.
