Mildred Louise (Smay) Myers

Mildred Louise Smay Myers, 86 of Avonmore (South Bend Twp.) passed away Saturday February 11, 2017 at West Haven Manor in Washington Twp. She was born October 19, 1930 in Renton, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Max and Hazel Murphy Smay. She enjoyed cooking, baking, shopping at the Mall, flowers, and watching hummingbirds. She loved spending time with family. She is survived by her husband of sixty-seven years, Clarence Thomas “Tom” Myers, four children; Monica Macowski and her husband Daniel of Upper Burrell, Sandra Kostelansky and her husband Joe of Butler, Edward L. Myers and his wife Nancy of Rural Valley, and Jodi Beegle and her husband Chris of New Paris, seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren, three brothers; Ronald Smay and his wife Betty of Harrisburg, Richard Smay and his wife Sue of Springboro, Pa. and Billy Smay and his wife Lee of Curtisville,  and a sister, Rose Marie Robinson of West Deer. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters; Anna Mae Zock and Betty Gordon, and two brothers; Robert and Arden “Butch” Smay. At the request of the family, viewing and services will be private. Interment will take place in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home Ltd. 1916 Moore Ave. North Apollo, Pa.
