Mary Ann (Mains) James

Mary Ann Mains James 85 of Apollo passed away Thursday August 11, 2016 at West Haven Manor in Washington Twp. She was born November 11, 1930 in Apollo (Paulton) the daughter of the late George and Madeline Hare Mains. Mary Ann will always be remembered for her gentle disposition and her affinity for hard work. She is survived by a son, David Bittinger of Washington Twp., two grandsons; Brian Bittinger and his wife Stephanie of Plum, and William James of San Diego, California, a granddaughter, Michelle James Farr of Valencia, California, six great grandchildren; Isabella, Bailey, Skylee, Meadow, Lauren, and Ryan, her daughter in law Mary Ann James of Valencia, California, and a niece Pam Wilson, of Loyalhanna Twp. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William Martin James in 2014, and a brother George Mains. Graveside services will be conducted on Monday August 15, 2015 at Riverview Cemetery in Apollo at 10:00 A.M. Chaplin Sue Brown will officiate. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Kelly L.
