Jacquelle A. (Riley) Ellis

Jacquelle A. Ellis, 81, of Avonmore, Pa., passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2017 in Indiana, Pa. She was born Wednesday, June 6, 1934 in Buffalo, New York, the daughter of the late John Prince and Ruth Maxine Vititoe Riley.  Jacquelle started a program teaching individuals English as a second language which was ranked second in the nation. Before her retirement, she was employed as a social worker and a teacher. She enjoyed cooking and reading cookbooks, shopping, doing the crossword puzzles in the New York Times, collecting things and loved living in a country setting. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Doctor Charles B. Ellis, 2 children, Jennifer Kingman and her husband, Paul, of New Burn, NC. and Jeffrey Scott and his wife, Suzanne, of New Burn, NC., 9 grandchildren, Genara Burnett, Denise Scott, Mark Ezell, Marissa Robinson, Jessica Kingman, Logan Kingman, Robert Scott, Mia Scott and Kenny Scott Jr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 2 children, Kenneth Scott and Sherri Scott. Family will receive friends on Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 2PM to 4PM in the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home LTD, 1916 Moore Ave., North Apollo, Pa. Services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 4PM with Pastor Lee Rupert, officiating.
