I grew to love you all and loved when Gene would come in the office with his big smile. I know this last year has been so tough, but now he's at peace. I will always remember the Alese family. I have never met such a group of beautiful and supportive as they were, and I am glad I got to be a small part of that journey. I appreciated ever conversation I had with Gene and Ilene because they were such pure and kind people and their love for each other was irreplaceable.
