Esther Mabel (Flickinger) Ellwood

Esther Mabel Flickinger Ellwood, 84, of Ambridge, Pa. formerly of North Apollo passed away on Monday, October 30, 2017 in Beaver, Pa. She was born on Sunday, March 26, 1933 in (Flat Rock), Avonmore, the daughter of the late Raymond D. and Charlotte M Platt Flickinger. She enjoyed music, dancing, doing word search, baking and spending time with her family. Esther is survived by 3 daughters, Shirley Crisci and her husband Michael of Ambridge, Kimberly Campbell and her husband Michael of Natrona Heights and Tonya Ellwood and her husband Ralph of Industry, 2 sons, John Peace and his wife Darlene of North Apollo and Bryan Peace and his wife Natalie of Center Twp., 10 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, 2 brothers, Lewis “Dork” Flickinger of Apollo and  Owen Flickinger of Spring Church and a sister, Constance Miller of Spring Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Peace , 3 brothers, William, Earl and Wayne Flickinger and 2 sisters, Vera Jean Sloan and Lucille Anderson. Family will receive friends on Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 3pm to 6pm in the Kelly L Corridoni Funeral Home LTD, 1916 Moore Ave, North Apollo. Services will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 6pm in the funeral home. Reverend Michael P. Campbell will be officiating. Interment will be held in Spring Church Cemetery and will be private.
