Dear Olga and family,

My heart and prayers are with you. Your husband was a good man and a fine husband/parent from all I have learned about Anton. It is a tremendous tragedy that he died so young and in such a manner.

I have saved some photos of you, Olga, from the newspapers. In particular, the one with you engaging with the organ recipient's wife and the one with you kissing the cross at St. Nicholas's Church during Anton's funeral. I have placed them in my journal and prayer books so I will think of you every day. It must be devastating to go through what you have endured with such grace . I can't imagine how how it was to travel here to be with Anton and then return home to Russia.

May your children give you strength and a reason to carry on. I will pray for you everyday to help you get through this horrible loss. You are so young and beautiful. I wish this never happened to you and your family. I know Anton would want you to carry on in life. His spirit and love will always be with you.

Please know you are surrounded with love, even by me, someone who never met you or Anton. I have you in my heart as you have Anton in yours.

God bless you, Olga.
Much love , Cari Batchelar (Pittsburgh and Chautauqua Lake, NY)

I was so sorry to hear of your recent loss. I have had loss as well. I have been able to find both hope and comfort in Revelation 21: 3,4. It is a beautiful promise from God of a time with no more pain or death. I hope that you find comfort as well. My sympathy, B. Altman
