Rose Ferrero

Rose Ferrero 88 of Avonmore passed away Friday May 20, 2016 at Forbes Regional Hospital in Monroeville. She was born December 14, 1927 in Avonmore the daughter of the late Dominick J. and Mary Maraffi Ferrero. Before her retirement in 1991, Rose was employed for over thirty four years as a teller at First National Bank in Avonmore. She is a member of the Saint Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Where she was very involved, And the Fannie Sellins Lodge/Italian Club also in Avonmore. Rose loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed her trips to the Casino, and traveling. She is survived by her brother, James D. Ferrero and his wife Mary of Yardley, Pa., and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother David Alyetti and her sister Anna Mary Marchitelli.  Family will receive friends on Monday May 23, 2016 from 4:00-7:00 P.M. in the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home Ltd. 400 Indiana Ave. Avonmore. A Mass of Christian Burial Will be celebrated on Tuesday May 24, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. in Saint Ambrose Roman Catholic Church. Father Salvatore Lamendola will be celebrant. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery, Avonmore.
