Yvonne (Frain) Painter

Yvonne Frain Painter, 86, of Apollo, Pa., passed away on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at Forbes Hospital in Monroeville, Pa.  She was born Thursday, August 13, 1936 in Spring Church, Pa., the daughter of the late Lawrence and Luella Bobberts Frain. Before her retirement, she worked as a custodian for the Apollo Ridge School District for over 43 years.  Yvonne enjoyed her flower garden, quilting, crafting and making beaded ornaments. She is survived by her children; Christine Wolverton of Apollo, Jeannie McKendree and her husband, Clay, of Apollo, Eileen Wilson of Apollo and Laurie Jackson and her husband, Ron, of Apollo, her daughter-in-law, Catherine Davis of Apollo, 16 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren, her brothers; Lawrence Frain of Apollo, Larry Frain of Apollo, Robert Frain and his wife, Claudia, of Apollo, Lee  Frain and his wife, Cathy, of Avonmore and Donald Frain of Apollo and her sisters; Ida Dolan and her husband, Chuck, of Apollo, Carolyn Miller of North Apollo and Althea Blystone of Spring Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Clarence Raymond Painter, her son; Kenneth Davis, her great grandson; Timothy Augustine Peace, a great granddaughter, Juliette Olivia Reed, her brothers; Clarence and George Frain and her sisters; Mona Dunmire, Bernice Bowser and Darlene “Opal” Clawson.  Family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home LTD, 1916 Moore Ave., North Apollo, Pa. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at 11:00 AM, Pastor Brandon Robertson, officiating. Interment will be held at Ridgeview Cemetery in Elders Ridge, Pa.
