William "Bill" Anthony Meidus Jr.

William Anthony “Bill” Meidus Jr, 70, of Vandergrift, Pa., passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2020 at his home. He was born on Tuesday, May 9, 1950 in Vandergrift, Pa., the son of the late William Anthony Sr. and Dolores “Dolly” Martin Meidus.  Bill graduated from Kiski Area High School in 1968.  Before his retirement, he was employed with B & W West Mifflin Plant in hazardous material clean up.  He was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church in East Vandergrift. He was a very active member of the East Vandergrift Lithuanian Club. He loved playing golf and his dog, Rosie. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Larraine Ann Andritz  Meidus. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jason Scott Meidus in 2012. Viewing will be Private and for the immediate family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Thursday October 8, 2020 at Our Lady Queen of Peace in East Vandergrift at 10:00 A.M.  with Father Michael  J.  Sciberras  as celebrant. Everyone is encouraged to attend.
