William "Bill" Joseph Jones

William “Bill” Joseph Jones, 74, of Saltsburg, Pa. formerly of Corbin, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025. He was born on Wednesday, October 18, 1950 in Corbin, Kentucky, the son of the late Sam R. and Naomi R. Mahan Jones. Bill a true man of God, gave his life to the Lord and completed his studies to become an ordained minister. His joy for the ministry included ministering to the sick at nursing homes and hospitals and evangelization.  Bill’s favorite phrase after a phone call or at the end of his letters was “Jesus Loves You”. He also loved music, playing the guitar and harmonica and practiced marital arts. He is survived by his children; Joy L. Jones of Greenville, Oh., Christian G. Jones of Burlington, Ky., Micah Jonah Cain Jones and his wife, Brenda of Erlanger, Ky., Eva Maloney of Greenville, Oh., Amy Jones of Greenville, Oh., Mandy Jones of Greenville, Oh. and Regina Jones of Greenville, Oh., 16 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, his sisters; Nancy L. Jones, Kathleen Jones and Linda Jones and his friends, Debbie Auen of Pittsburgh, Pa.and Tara Bartolini of Clarksburg, Pa. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at 12:30 PM at Edgewood Cemetery in Saltsburg, Pa. with Pastor Lee Rupert, officiating. All family and friends are to meet at Corridoni Funeral Services, Inc., 400 Indiana Ave., Avonmore, Pa. 15618 at Noon.
