William “Bill” Glenn Bumbaugh, 56, of Avonmore, Pa., passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021 at his daughter’s home after a courageous battle with Hodgkin Lymphoma, Lung and Brain cancer. He was born on Thursday, March 4, 1965 in McKeesport, Pa., the son of Audrey Bingaman Bumbaugh and the late Glenn Edward Bumbaugh. He enjoyed fishing, camping, boating, quad riding, cooking out, going to drive in movies and traveling. Bill had a great sense of humor (sarcastic none the less) and was a great story teller. He treasured the time he spent with his children. Bill will always be remembered for his strength and bravery in the face of the adversity known as cancer. He is survived by his children; Mathew Bumbaugh of McIntyre, William Bumbaugh of Kentucky, Nicole Bumbaugh of Apollo and Amber Bumbaugh of Avonmore, many grandchildren, his mother; Audrey Bingaman Bumbaugh of Penn Hills, his brothers; James Bumbaugh of Penn Hills, Randy Bumbaugh of Monroeville, his sister; Carrie Bumbaugh of Penn Hills, his former wife and friend, Geraldine M. Bumbaugh and Bonnie Reitz a lifelong friend. He was preceded in death by his father. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at My Buddy’s Place, 407 Indiana Ave., Avonmore, Pa.
