Veronica Eleanor (Silva) Donovan

Veronica Eleanor Silva Donovan 81, of Vandergrift passed away on Friday May 24, 2024, at her home. She was born on Sunday March 14, 1943, in Aiea, Hawaii, the daughter of the late Harry and Marie Chaves Silva. Before her retirement Veronica worked in Hawaii as a cashier at Foodland, and as a hostess at Kings Restaurant locally. She enjoyed passing time watching “old” movies, working puzzle books, singing, dancing, karaoke, and in her earlier years was a dart shooting master. She is survived by her two children: Falicia Ruggeri and her husband Bradley of Vandergrift, and Robert H. Swarmer III and his wife DeAnne of Leechburg, nine Grandchildren and nine Great-Grandchildren, her siblings; Harriet, Lillian, Rose, Sharon, and JR. At Veronica’s request, all services are private.
