Vera Mae Cramer Faiola, 94, of North Apollo, passed away Friday, March 12, 2021, at West Haven Manor in Washington Township. She was born Saturday, May 1, 1926, in Avonmore, PA, the daughter of the late Wallace and Mary Elizabeth Ridenour Cramer. She was a 1944 graduate of Elders Ridge High School. She was an avid reader, who loved mysteries and gardening books. She enjoyed making canvas crosses and decorations. She had a passion for gardening and researched her plants and flowers, she will always be remembered for her unconditional love and compassion in her adoption for all of the orphaned cats in her neighborhood. She enjoyed time spent with family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by a daughter, Linda Faiola, of Oklahoma Boro, her grandson, Nathan “Nate” Negley and his wife, Ashley, of New Kensington, her great grandson, Jace Negley, a brother, James Cramer and his wife, Cathy, of Leechburg and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband in 2013, Alexander John Faiola, a brother, Ray Cramer and two sisters, Lillian Dobrosky and Freda Heckman. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 from 5:00PM until time of services at 7:00PM in the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home, LTD, 1916 Moore Avenue, North Apollo, PA Services will be conducted at 7:00PM in the funeral home with Pastor Lee Rupert officiating. Private interment will be held Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at Greenwood Memorial Park in Lower Burrell, PA Masks are mandatory and social distancing guidelines will be followed.
