Valentino “Dino” Rudolph, 85, of Avonmore, Pa. passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at UPMC East in Monroeville, Pa. He was born on Tuesday, February 20, 1940, in Moween, Pa. the son of late Stephen and Dominica D’Eidgo Rudolph. Before his retirement, he was a heat treater specialist for National Roll. He liked hunting, woodworking, raising chickens, reloading ammunition, gardening (Italian tomatoes) and working on cars and motorcycles. He tended bar at his family’s hotel in Avonmore, originally known as Rudolph’s. He won many awards for themed house decorating during the Avonmore Harvest Jubilee. He possessed a high mechanical aptitude and could fix anything. He is survived by his son, David Vincent DeSimone and his wife, Kimberly of Avonmore, 3 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, his sisters: Florence Ziemianski of Avonmore and Julia McCaffrey of Carnegie and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Remo Rudolph and Emedio Rudolph and his sister, Carina Janetka. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Corridoni Funeral Services, Inc., 400 Indiana Ave., Avonmore, Pa. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, 505 Cambria Ave., Avonmore, Pa with Father Salvatore Lamendola as celebrant. Interment will take place at Westview Cemetery, Avonmore, Pa.
