Obituary

Thomas Lee Evans, 86, of Luxor, PA passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA   Thomas was born on Saturday, October 5, 1935, in Pleasant Unity, PA, the son of the late Albert and June Smail Evans McClarren.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Bonnie Lee McIntyre Evans, “the love of his life”.  He was a United States Air Force Veteran having served during the Korean War.  He was a mold maker employed by Overmyer’s Mold, in Greensburg, Pa for over 25 years, and a master concrete worker starting at the age of 25.  He was involved with his family, in Horse Therapy,” Kinsey Way” heavily participating in the March of Dimes, and Home Depot safety days.  After his military days he worked at the Coca Cola Plant, and in his later life built and finished homes with his son.  Congratulations Thomas on a “Life Well Done”.  Family will receive friends on Monday, April 4, 2022, from noon until time of parting prayer services at 2:00 PM in the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home, LTD, 400 Indiana Avenue, Avonmore, Pa.  Father Salvatore Lamendola will officiate.
