Thelma L. (Beaver) Caldwell

Thelma L. Beaver Caldwell, 94, of Westmoreland City, Pa., passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at Forbes Hospital in Monroeville, Pa.  She was born on Tuesday, October 30, 1928 in Jeannette, Pa., the daughter of the late Harry H. and Elizabeth L. Sheperd Beaver. She enjoyed playing bingo, reading, watching Jeopardy, York Peppermint Patties and loved watching sports, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers. Thelma was known for her famous homemade pies. She is survived by her children; Michael Caldwell of Washington Twp., Robert Caldwell of Irwin and Cathy Norton and her husband, Ronald, of Apollo, 4 grandchildren; Ashley Caldwell of Washington Twp., John Fruechtel and his wife, Melissa, of Leechburg, Ronald Norton and his wife, Michelle, of Mars and Robert Norton and his wife, Michelle, of Pittsburgh, 5 great grandchildren; Dayus, Tessa, Leah, Isabella and Madeline and her brother; Jack Beaver of New Alexander. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clair A. Caldwell, her son; Edwin “Killey” Caldwell, her grandson; Michael Caldwell and her brothers; Harrold, Bob, and Norman Beaver. Family will receive friends on Sunday, July 23, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home LTD, 400 Indiana Ave., Avonmore, Pa.  A private graveside service will be held on Monday, July 24, 2023 at Twin Valley Memorial Park in Delmont, Pa. with Pastor Lee Rupert, officiating.
