Terry "Waf" Lee Heffelfinger

Terry Lee Heffelfinger, also known as “Waf”, 60, of Vandergrift, Pa. passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at his home. He was born on Saturday, April 13, 1963 in New Kensington, Pa., the son of the late Carl J. and Dolores Mornes Heffelfinger. Terry worked for Halls Pools in Lower Burrell, Pa. He was a United States Navy Veteran. He was a member of the Vandergrift VFW, The American Club, the Sons of Italy, and the Vandergrift Fireman’s Club. He enjoyed listening to rock music, especially AC/DC, loved playing Fantasy Football, the Steelers, Nascar, the Penguins and the Pirates. He most loved his family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. The love of his life was the mother of his children, Bonnie Clair. He is survived by his children, Autumn Steele and her husband of Vandergrift, Michael Sipe and his wife, Stephine of Oakmont, and Robert Sipe of Vandergrift, 15 grandchildren plus one on the way, 4 great grandchildren and his sister, Deborah Clair (Tim Gamble) of Allegheny Twp. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Michael Ryan Lee Sipe and his brothers, Tim and Tom Heffelfinger. At Terry’s request, all funeral arrangements were private. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
