Teresa Rose (Lorent) Hughes

Teresa Rose Lorent Hughes, 65, of Vandergrift, Pa., passed away on Friday, September 2, 2022 in Western Reserve Hospice in Cleveland, Ohio. She was born on Wednesday, June 26, 1957 in Vandergrift, Pa, the daughter of the late Emile “Frank” and Dollie Straka Lorent. Before her retirement, she was a nurse for Quality Life Services in Apollo, Pa. She enjoyed baking, crafting, gardening but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. She is survived by her children; Adam Rumbaugh and his wife, Dawn, of Tinsmill, Heather Deal of Vandergrift and Nicole Nicholson and her husband, Gary, of Connellsville, her grandchildren; Lilly Bell Rumbaugh, Dawson and Bentley Deal and Garrett, Wyatt and Courtlyn Nicholson, her sisters; Cheryl Stange of Ford City, Laurie Lorent of Vandergrift and Laura Vilsack and her husband, Greg, of Vandergrift and her brother; Emile Lorent of Vandergrift. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother; Anthony, Michael and Jimmy Lorent.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 6:00 PM at 158 Lakeview Rd., Ford City, Pa. 16226.
