Steven Lane Sperlik Sr.

Steven Lane Sperlik, Sr., 76, of Greensburg, Pa. passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at UPMC McKeesport, Pa. He was born on Monday, September 29, 1947, in Bryan, Ohio, the son of the late Charles E. Jr. and Gwendlyn Smith Sperlik. Before his retirement, he worked as an Insurance Agent for American National for 25 years. He enjoyed target shooting, volunteering for his church and feeding the homeless, long-distance cycling, camping, cooking, liked his coffee strong and loved watching sports. He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Susan Cunningham Sperlik, his children, Steven Lane Sperlik Jr of Greensburg, Scott Lane Sperlik of Suffolk, Va and Kristopher Ian Sperlik of Irwin, his grandchildren, Breanne, Shawn, Seth, Sawyer and Sullivan Sperlik, his stepdaughters, Lauren Testa (Luke Shoemaker) of Washington DC and Ashley Testa of Monroeville and his sister, Susan Lane McBride and her husband, Neal of Amherst, Ma. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Shane. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at 10:00 AM at the Totteridge Pool Club House, 2010 Chipperfield Way E., Greensburg, Pa.  15601 with Pastor Eric Wallhausen, officiating.
