Shirley May (Reed) Bair

Shirley May Reed Bair, 82, of Avonmore, Pa. passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at her home. She was born on Thursday, April 10, 1941, in Twin Rocks, Pa., the daughter of the late James and Loretta McGough Reed. She enjoyed traveling to watch her children and grandchildren in their sporting events, rub off lottery tickets, and game shows. She loved music and could be heard humming happily in so many memorable situations. Shirley was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her children; James H. Bair Jr. of Avonmore and Michael E. Bair and his wife, Michelle of Avonmore, her grandchildren; Jacob Kerlin, Michael Bair and Ashlee Bair, her sisters; Mary Carr and her husband, Glenn of Moween, Donna Scaglione of Avonmore and Nora DeMetro and her husband, Larry of Blacklick. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Howard Bair Sr, her son, Greg S. Bair, her brothers, Joe, Jim and Bill Reed and her sisters, Sally Craft, Betty Blasin, Loretta Beitel and Anna Kinsh. Family will receive friends at Corridoni Funeral Services, Inc., 400 Indiana Ave., Avonmore, Pa. on Monday, October 23, 2023 from Noon until time of services at 2:00 PM with Reverend Miriam Banks, officiating. Interment will take place at Edgewood Cemetery, Saltsburg, Pa.
