Shannon Lee McCabe

Shannon Lee McCabe, 42, of Jeannette, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2020 at Forbes Regional Hospital in Monroeville, Pa. She was born on Wednesday, July 27, 1977 in Saltsburg, Pa., the daughter of the late Nancy Knesh Sorbin. She loved walking in the woods, the outdoors and campfires. She was a free spirit and very adventuresome. She will always be remembered as a selfless kind and sweet person with a big heart who would do anything for anyone. Shannon loved life and lived it to the fullest.  She is survived by 3 children, Tequilla Kelly, Shadow Cockrell and Zion Cockrell all of Jeannette, 3 sisters, Pamela Turk of Mt. Pleasant, Misty Mazzagetti and her husband, Terry, of Latrobe, Kimmy Stader of Mt. Pleasant , a brother, Robert Sorbin and his wife, Liz, of West Virginia and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, her nephew, Patrick Turk, and his son, her great nephew, Kaiden Angel Turk. Shannon also leaves behind numerous aunts and uncles who loved her very much. Due to public health concerns and our concerns for our families, all funeral arrangements are private.
