Sandra "Sandy" Lynn (Rivi) Kridler

Sandra L. Rivi Kridler, 74, of Leechburg, Pa., passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022 peacefully in her home surrounded by her family. She was born on Monday, December 1, 1947 in Leechburg, Pa., the daughter of late Joseph and Dorothy Akos Rivi. Sandra and Samuel Leroy Kridler were united in marriage on March 21, 1966 in Cumberland, MD. Sandra and Samuel were married for 55 wonderful years. Sandra graduated from Leechburg High School in 1966. She was a lifelong resident of Leechburg and a member of Christ the King Parish. She worked at Willowbrook Country Club and Krutz’s Jewelers for many years before her retirement. Sandra enjoyed going the casino, baking and traveling. The most important thing to Sandra was spending time with her family and loved ones. Sandra will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She is survived by her husband, Samuel Kridler, her two children; Kurt S. Kridler of Leechburg and Carrie A. Kalmar and her husband, William, of Leechburg, three grandchildren; Ryan J. Kalmar (Madalyn), Jared W. Kalmar (Erin) and Jessica L. Munsee (Ross), two great grandchildren; Remi and Talya, her siblings; Lori Paul of Springfield, Va., Joseph Rivi (Kathy) of Lakewood, OH, Ron Rivi (Debbie) of Greensburg, Pa., Randy Rivi of Leechbug, Pa. and Jeffrey Rivi  (Darla) of Fairfax, Va., and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Paulette Sober and her nephews; Brian Sober and Derek Paul. Due to Sandra’s wishes, there will be a private celebration of life at a later date.
