Ronda Janet Dunmire, 76, of North Apollo, Pa. passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024 at 10:15 AM EST with her surviving husband Wayne George Dunmire at her side. Born October 19, 1947, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, she was the daughter of the late Harrison and Lucy Spear. She attended Poplar Bluff High School and graduated in 1965. Later, she moved to Illinois to live with her Uncle Ivan McLain and Aunt Dorothy. It is here where she met Wayne Dunmire. They married and remained dedicated to each other for nearly 57 years until her passing. She enjoyed dancing to music and sometimes singing, gardening and doing yard work. She also valued taking walks in nearby wooded areas, around town and especially in local state parks. Ronda and Wayne enjoyed going to places and doing activities together. She believed very much in the bible and was happy to share bible thoughts with others. She was part of the congregation of Jehovah’s witnesses in Avonmore, Pa. Ronda is survived by her children, Curtis Dunmire and his wife, Christine, Sharon Trice and her husband, Robert, Todd Dunmire ad his wife Xialon (Mimi), Wesley Dunmire and Jesse Dunmire and his wife Aynthia. She is survived by her sister, Linda Plank and her brother James Spear. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Justin Hydrick and Syeira Trice (children of Sharon Trice).
