Robert Eugene Stewart

Robert Eugene Stewart, 73, Tunnelton (Conemaugh Twp.) passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023, at IRMC in Indiana, Pa. He was born in Coral-Graceton on Monday, October 23, 1950, the son of the late John O. and Catherine M. Galiardi Stewart. He enjoyed working on cars, archery hunting, the outdoors, woodworking (making furniture) and playing baseball and his guitar. Most of all, Bob loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Luara A. Petro Stewart of Tunnelton, his children, Angelina “Angel” Ashbaugh and her husband, Rick of Clarksburg, Carolyn Stewart of Tunnelton and Jessica Bernard and her husband, Jeremy of Homer City, 7 grandchildren; Mark Shondelmyer Jr. of Pittsburgh, Kelsy Hill and her husband, Tyler of Jacksonville, NC, Allison Shondelmyer of Clarksburg, Anthony Ashbaugh of Clarksburg, Ricky Ashbaugh of Avonmore, Sage Bernard of Homer City and Kaden Bernard of Homer City. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Stewart and a sister, Linda Stewart. At Bobs request, all funeral arrangements were private.
