Robert Alex Ludovici, 72, of Oakmont, Pa. passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Monroeville Health & Wellness Center. He was born on Monday, May 12, 1952, the son of the late Louis C. and Phyllis M. Corvello Ludovici. Before his retirement, he was a graphic design engineer for Thermal Industries. He was a United States Marine Corps veteran having served in the Vietnam War as a jet mechanic. He enjoyed watching movies about history, war and action. He was an artist, loved to draw, and was phenomenal at playing the acoustic/electric guitar, keyboard, and liked to sing. Robert played in both bands, RGH express and “No Big Deal”. He is survived by his daughters; Dawn Marinacci and her husband, Leonard of Oakmont, Amy Ludovici of Pittsburgh, and Julie Ludovici, of Natrona Heights, 2 grandchildren; Alana and Tayvon Ludovici, 2 great grandchildren; Aaliyah and Athena Holston and his sisters; Kathy DeBlasio and her husband, John of North Huntington and Debbie Cole of Mount Pleasant. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Denise Marie Deschamps Ludovici and his great granddaughters, Amanda and Alexis. At his request, all funeral arrangements are private.
