Ricki Kenneth Pless

Ricki Kenneth Pless 68, of Indiana, PA passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at his home.  He was born Monday, March 25, 1957, in Saltsburg, PA., the son of the late Fred E. and Marilyn L. Fennell Pless.  Ricki was a 1975 graduate of Saltsburg High School.  He was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates, following them since his youth and even trying out for the team when able.  He also enjoyed genealogy, stoicism, metal detecting, taking walks, getting into discussions on reddit, doing crossword and sudoku in the newspaper, watching Seinfeld, playing the lottery, Led Zeppelin and most of all laughing.  Ricki is survived by his children, Melinda Montgomery, Bryan Pless, Larissa Pless and Brenton Pless.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Pless.  Ricki’s memory will be cherished by his loving family and all that knew him.  He had life-long struggles with addiction and alcoholism; but his soul is no longer struggling, he is now at peace in his heavenly home.
