Richard Lewis Smith

Richard Lewis Smith, 76, of Leechburg, Pa., passed away on Monday, June 12, 2023 at his home. He was born on Friday, April 25, 1947 in Gilpin Twp., the son of the late Dale R. and Lois I. Smeltzer Smith.  Before his retirement, he was a crane man for Hyde Park Foundry for 30 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and rifle shooting. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Linda LaVina Smith of Leechburg, his children; Dawn L. Wilson and her husband, Mark, of Wheeling, West Virginia and Christine A. Camp of Leechburg, 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, his brothers; Jeffrey D. Smith and his wife, Debra, of McGrann and Kenneth L. Smith of Leechburg and his sister; Carolyn Hickman and her husband, Lloyd, of Leechburg. At his request, all funeral arrangements were private.
