Richard Michael Gunter

Richard Michael Gunter, 75, of Moween, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at UPMC Shadyside in Pittsburgh, Pa. He was born on Tuesday, December 16, 1947 in Moween, Pa. the son of the late Robert and Mary E. Fenush Gunter. He worked for Helen Mines for 20 years and belonged to the PCBA for disabled hunters. He was a United States Army Veteran. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, raising blueberries and raspberries and loved his grandchildren very much. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Emma Jean Reeger Gunter, his children; Lori Gunter of Nashville, Tn., Stacie Rohan and her husband, Jim, of Woodstock, Ga. And Richard A. Gunter and his wife, Rebecca, of Pittsburgh, Pa., 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and a sister; Margaret Buckshaw. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters; Helen Porter and Barbara Christersen and his brother; Robert Gunter. Family will receive friends on Friday, September 22, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Corridoni Funeral Services Inc., 400 Indiana Ave., Avonmore, Pa. A Parting Prayer Service will be held at 6:00 PM with Father John Harrold, officiating. Interment is private.
