Richard Lee Clouser, 85, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024 at Beacon Ridge in Indiana, Pa. He was born on Tuesday, September 5, 1939 in Vienna, Va. the son of the late Richard A. and Florence J. Clouser. Before his retirement, he was a police officer in Washington D.C. He was a United States Army veteran. Richard was an avid reader, an avid golfer and loved his cats, Sweetie, Cutie, Hanna and Grace. As a young man, Richard played 1st base with a team in Vienna, Va. and held the record for hitting the ball the farthest distant and set a record for team. He is survived by his 2 grandchildren, Matthew and Kevin and a brother, Gary N. Clouser of Florida. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Valerie A. Beebe and his brother, Robert Closer. All funeral arrangements were private.
