Regina Roxanne Parente

Regina Roxanne Parente, 68yrs old, passed away unexpectedly at her home early Sunday morning, 10/27/24.  Reggie was born 1/02/1956 in Natrona Heights, Pa.    She was the daughter of Rocco and Jean Parente. Regggie attended and graduated from Kiski Area High School and graduated in 1974.    Reggie enjoyed being in nature, tending to her garden, spending time taking care of stray animals (cats) and nursing them back to health.  Reggie overcame her fear of speaking for herself and became an outspoken, confident woman who stood for what she believed in.  She worked as a cook at Kiski Prep boys school and enjoyed her job.  Reggie loved fairies, Enya (musician) and earth tone colors.   Regina  is survived by her brother, James  (Monessen, Pa)  and her step son, Shawn Ruzzi, who resides in Oregon.  Reggie was preceeded in death by her parents, Rocco and Jean and her partner, Brian Ruzzi, with whom she shared her life for 40 years.

 According to Reggie’s wishes, there was no viewing or funeral. She wishes that anyone that wanted to remember her make donations and contributions to an animal shelter of their choice.   Community Angels  Network is just one of the agencies that she donated to..
