Paul Nellis Snow, 94, of Spring Church, Pa., passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023 at Excela Health Latrobe in Latrobe, Pa. He was born on Sunday, December 30, 1928 in Salina, Pa., the son of the late Paul F. and Ethel M. Ridenour Snow. Before his retirement, he worked at General Refractories Brick Yard in Salina, Pa. and was a truck driver for Sam Jack. Paul was a United States Army Veteran during the Korean War. He enjoyed watching TV, attending live Country Music Shows, gardening, yard work and his trips to the Grand Old Opry but most of all he loved all animals, just to mention a couple of favorites, his turtles, Pete and Repeat and his most favorite turtle, Gomer his red eared slider turtle. He was especially proud of meeting Jeannie C. Riley and Loretta Lynn, country star legends. Paul will always be remembered as a man who loved his family deeply. He is survived by his daughter; Cheryl D. Millard and her husband, Don, of Spring Church, his grandchildren; Danny L. McComb Jr. and his fiancé, Jen Colangelo Harasty of Seward, John P. McComb of Apollo, Christopher M. Millard of Land O’ Lakes, Florida and 5 great grandchildren; Zackary D. McComb, Karys Z. McComb, Andy K. McComb, Gabrielle M. Millard and Blake T. Smola. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn Mary Walter Snow. Interment will be held at Westview Cemetery in Avonmore, Pa. All funeral arrangements are private.
