Paul Edward “Ted” Culp Jr., 83, of Avonmore, Pa., passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at Forbes Hospital in Monroeville, Pa. He was born on Saturday, November 26, 1928 in Avonmore, Pa. the son of the late Paul E. Sr. and Gladys I. Keeley Culp. Before his retirement, he worked in the tool and die department and finished his career in quality assurance for Westinghouse in East Pittsburgh for 33 years. Paul enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing baseball but his grandchildren were his pride and joy. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Judy Garland Holbrook Culp, his son, Mark Culp and his wife, Becky, of Avonmore, his grandchildren Ericka Gibbon and her husband, Sean, of Allision Park, Aubree Culp, Evan Culp and Ava Culp, a brother, Ralph Culp and his wife, Mary Ellen, of Warren and a sister, Carolyn Baratta and her husband, Frank, of Roanoke, Va. and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Eric Culp and a sister, Dolores Kravetsky. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 10:00 AM at the Hebron Lutheran Church, 601 Cambria Ave., Avonmore, Pa., with Reverend Keith McCutcheon, officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery.
