Owen Dean Flickinger

Owen Dean Flickinger, 79, of Spring Church, Pa., passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021 at Platinum Ridge Center in Brackenridge, Pa. He was born on Saturday, November 22, 1941 in Avonmore, Pa., the son of the late Raymond D. and Charlotte M. Platte Flickinger. Before his retirement, he was a carpenter in the construction business for Easley & Rivers. He was a member of the Slovak Club in North Vandergrift, Pa. He loved to hunt, watch NASCAR and country westerns on television. Owen was a great singer who loved to listen to country music and sing along. He is survived by a son, Justin Dean Flickinger of Ohio, his brother, Lewis Flickinger of Apollo, his sister, Constance Miller of Apollo and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Gregory Flickinger, his brothers, Earl Flickinger, Wayne L. Flickinger and William Flickenger and his sisters, Luceal Anderson, Esther Peace Ellwood and Vera Sloan. All funeral arrangements were private.
