Mary Ann Elizabeth Fabec (Carnahan)

Mary Ann Elizabeth Fabec (Carnahan), 81, of Bell Township, Pa. passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at Quality Life Services in Apollo, Pa. She was born on Tuesday, July 27, 1943, in Oakmont, Pa., the daughter of the late Louis and Pauline Hrenovec Fabec. Before her retirement, she worked for the Pennsylvania Turnpike as a toll collector. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking, kayaking, motorcycles and loved animals. She is survived by her stepchildren, Deana Weinfurther and her husband, John of Natrona Heights, Sandra Ammon and her husband, Frank of Saltsburg, Sally Carnahan Wagner of Harbinger, NC and James D. Carnahan and his wife, Debi of Avonmore, 7 grandchildren, Cory Weinfurther and his wife, Alyssa of A Murrysville, Kayla Weinfurther (Eric) of Wilmington, NC, Shawn Ruzzi (Tammy) of Coos Bay, OR, Aric Wagner (Britney) of Grandy, NC, Kimber Wood and her husband, Ryan of Jefferson Hills, Benjamin Carnahan and his wife, Kassie of New Kensington and Megan Young and her husband, Trevor of Greensburg, 7 step great grandchildren and her brother, Joseph Fabec and his wife, Sally Ann of Cheswick. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dean E. Carnahan, her sisters, Virginia Rusak and Sylvia McMullin, her stepson, Edward Carnahan and her step grandchildren, Justin Urban and Joshua Weinfurther.  All funeral arrangements are private.
