Mary Patricia Anne (Pecman) Steere

Mary Patricia Anne Pecman Steere, 66, of New Kensington, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at her daughter’s home.  She was born Wednesday, July 25, 1956, in Dorseyville, PA, the daughter of the late Martin J. (Sr) and Margaret H Rodgers Pecman.  Mary was employed by Byers Taxi in Vandergrift as a driver.  She was very passionate about her job, loved people in general and always excited to meet “new friends”.  She loved the beach, trips to the casino, and was an avid listener and fan of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, she was happiest spending time with family especially her grandchildren who were her whole world.  She is survived by two children, Jennifer Lang and her husband, Phillip, of North Apollo and Ryan Steere and his wife, Haley, of Canonsburg, five grandchildren; Austin Gregory, Logan, Cason and Tristan Lang and Talia Steere, 2 brothers, Martin J. Pecman Jr., and his wife, Donna, of Natrona Heights, Jack J Pecman of Natrona Heights,  a sister, Elaine M Newcamp Dot, of Pittsburgh and a dear friend, Grace Orzechowski. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the North Apollo VFD Station #170.  In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions be made in Mary’s memory to the American Cancer Society, the Chapter of one’s choice.
