Mary Ann (Yaksetich) Pierce

Mary Ann Yaksetich Pierce, 92, of Saltsburg, Pa. (Conemaugh Twp.) passed away on Friday, July 11, 2025, at her home. She was born on Friday, October 21, 1932, in McIntyre, Pa., the daughter of the late Vincent and Mary Turk Yaksetich. Mary was a very active person who loved to bake and during Christmas time she would make over 30 different kinds of cookies. She kept an immaculate yard and bowled at a bowling league at Mohawk Lanes winning many trophies. She is survived by her son, Randy Pierce and his wife, Denise of Homer City and a grandson, Tyler James Pierce of Homer City. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Sylvester Pierce, a son, James in infancy and her brothers; Joseph Yaksetich, John Yaksetich and Eddie Yaksetich. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Corridoni Funeral Services, Inc., 400 Indiana Ave., Avonmore, Pa. Funeral Services will follow at the funeral home at 7:00 PM with Pastor Lee Rupert, officiating. Interment will take place at Twin Valley Memorial Park in Delmont, Pa.
