Mary Ann (Novak) Fairman

Mary Ann Novak Fairman, 99, of North Apollo, passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at Kittanning Care Center in Kittanning, PA.  She was born Sunday, November 18, 1923, in Czechoslovakia, the daughter of the late Anna and John Novak.  Before her retirement, she was a riveter in Detroit, during World War II.  She finished her career as a hostess/waitress at Oakmont Country Club.  She enjoyed home decorating, was a fashionista and was considered a great cosmetologist.  Although she came home to live and finish her glorious life, she enjoyed her ten years of living in Deltona, Florida.  She is survived by 3 children, Lee Richard Fairman (Susan Dunmire) of North Apollo, Lynda Russell and her husband, Ronald, of St. Louis, MO and Nancy Bloom and her husband, Howard, of Gray, TN, 2 grandchildren Scott Russell and his wife, Michele, of Shawnee, KS and Shelley Smith and her husband, Jason, of Greenville, TN, four great grandchildren, Brinna, Kaelyn, Colton and Kinsley.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Leroy Fairman, and a sister, Anna Danovich.  Private family viewing will take place, Tuesday, August 8, 2023, in the Kelly L. Corridoni Funeral Home, LTD, 1916 Moore Avenue, North Apollo, PA  15673.  Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Apollo, PA.
