Mario Leo Bankage

Mario Leo Bankage, 90, of Saltsburg, Pa. (Conemaugh Twp.) passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025 at his daughter’s home. He was born on Wednesday, February 20, 1935 in Iselin, Pa the son of the late Angelo and Mary Paluniak Bankage. He enjoyed working and tinkering around the house, gardening and hunting. His CB handle was C-13 Ridgerunner. He is survived by his children, Annette Baker and her husband, Mark of Avonmore, Lisa Stiles of Shelocta, Marla Corder and her husband, David of Saltsburg and Susan Young and her husband, Art of Saltsburg, 5 grandchildren; Joseph Bedick and his fiancé, Jill of Nowrytown, Mandi Ewing of Clarksburg, Matthew Bedick of Natrona Heights, Megan Turner of North Carolina and Zach Stiles of North Carolina and 5 great grandchildren, Joseph Bedick Jr, Noah Bedick, Samuel Ewing, Brandy Ewing and Joshua Ewing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Esther Marie Loughner Bankage, his sisters; Mary Aaron and Inez Padgett and his brother, Milio Bankage. Family will receive friends on Thursday, June 26, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Corridoni Funeral Services, Inc., 400 Indiana Ave., Avonmore, Pa. 15618. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home on Friday, June 27, 2025, at 11:00 AM with Pastor George Relic, officiating. Interment will take place at Iselin Union Cemetery, Iselin, Pa.
