Marie (Nadoh) Eckman

Marie Nadoh Eckman, 90, of Apollo, PA passed away at her home on Sunday, May 12, 2024.  Marie was born on Tuesday, December 5, 1933, the daughter of the late John and Josepine Maticic Nadoh, in Braddock, PA.  Before her retirement she was a retail clerk at Rubin’s Clothing Store.  She was a member of the St. James and St. Gertrude’s Church, Vandergrift, PA.  She loved playing cards, bowling, red hatters, loved to bake, liked to gamble but most of all enjoyed the time spent with family.  She is survived by three children. Gordon Eckman and his wife, Elaine, of Leechburg, Karen Della and her husband, Guy, of Maryland and Kathryn Eckman of Maryland., three grandchildren, Cody Eckman, Matthew Della, Kayla Della and four great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, W. Gordon Eckman, who passed away in 2006, and her sister, Josephine Ridenour, in 2004.  Family will receive visitors at Corridoni Funeral Services, Inc, 1916 Moore Avenue, North Apollo, Pa from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, May 17, 2024.  Parting prayer services will be conducted in the funeral home at 7:00 PM  with Father John Euker officiating.  Interment will be held in Riverview Cemetery, Apollo, PA. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donation be made in Marie’s name to the Apollo Area Meals on Wheels., P.O. Box 275, Apollo, PA  15613.
