Lynette Bevilacqua Obituary

Lynette Nina Casalini Bevilacqua, 78, of Avonmore, Pa. passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at her home. She was born on Wednesday, March 5, 1947, in Apollo, Pa. the daughter of the late Albert “Ge-Jo” and Carrie Bono Casalini. Lynette studied at the University of Wisconsin and received a bachelor’s degree in both biology and chemistry and worked at a clinic in Minneapolis, Minnesota, then continued her career as a supervisor for Arco Medical (Cook), continuing onto work for R & P Coal Co. at the Homer City power plant in the lab and she finished her career at Med Rad Medical in Harmarville, Pa. as a safety environmental associate in quality control. She was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church in Avonmore, Fannie Sellins Lodge at the Italian Club in Avonmore. She enjoyed going to the casino, shopping, traveling with her husband especially to Toronto and Niagara on the Lake in Canada where she saw Phantom of the Opera three times. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, John R. Bevilacqua. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 10:00 AM at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, 505 Cambria Ave., Avonmore, Pa with Father Salvatore Lamendola as celebrant. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to Mass beginning at 9:00 A.M. at the church. Interment will be take place at Westview Cemetery in Avonmore, Pa.
