Louis Bucco Jr.

Louis Bucco Jr., 86, formerly of Saltsburg, passed away on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at The Villages of Maple Heights in Ebensburg, Pa.  He was born on Thursday, December 10, 1936, the son of the late Louigi and Nancy Futinato Bucco. Louie was a loving and giving person. He spent his life working hard in the construction industry and was a lifelong member of the Laborer’s International Union of North America Local #1451. He lived life with minimal things and gave whatever he could to whoever needed it. He loved playing cards at the local barber shop, but most of all he loved his children. He is survived by his daughter, Connie Wardo and her husband, George, of Homer City, a grandson, Jared Wardo, a great grandson, Kaden Wardo, his brothers, Mario Bucco of Lower Burrell, Albert Bucco of Pittsburgh and Victor Bucco of Indiana. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, David Bucco, his brother, Pete Bucco and his sisters, Theresa McCloskey and Corena Sharon. A private visitation was held for the family. Reverend Miriam Banks officiated the funeral services. Interment will take place at Ebenezer Church Cemetery in Lewisville, Pa.
