Lois Maxine (Pelkey) Reynolds

Lois Maxine Pelkey Reynolds, 92, of Apollo, Pa. passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at her home. She was born on Sunday, August 13, 1933, in Renovo, Pa., the daughter of the late Fred and Ida Summerson Pelkey. Before her retirement, she worked as a CNA at West Haven Nursing Home for 23 years. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, word searches and loved her cats. She loved to bake and cook and always made sure everyone was fed. Lois is survived by her children, Deborah Townsend and her husband, Dale of Apollo, Rebecca Murphy of Apollo, Sandra Boarts and her husband, Richard of Apollo and Richard Reynolds of Apollo, 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, her brother, Robert Pelkey of Niagara Falls and her sister, Dorothy Moore and her husband, James of Emporium. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lynn Russell Reynolds in 1973, her children, Cheryl Gresko, Patricia Akins and Patrick Reynolds, her grandchild, John Kerr Jr., her great grandchild, Milo Turner, her sister, Gertrude Kinney and her brother, James Pelkey. All funeral services are private. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
