Linda Sue (Shoupe) Speedy

Linda Sue Shoupe Speedy, 78, of Avonmore, Pa. passed Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at Concordia at Weatherwood in Greensburg, Pa. She was born on Saturday, May 18, 1946 in Salina, Pa. the daughter of the late William C. and Margaret L. Fennell Shoupe. Before her retirement, she worked for National Roll in Avonmore as a Lab Technician/Sales. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Avonmore. She enjoyed crafting, making wreaths, and ceramics. Linda was always a caring and kind individual and was full of laughter. She is survived by her son, James T. Speedy II (Samantha Jo) of Cabot, Pa, her sisters; Sandy Doverspike of Kiski Twp. and Karen M. Mays and her husband, Terry of Greensburg her two Godsons; Tristyn Mays and his fiancé, Kenzee and Stephen Cup, and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Speedy Sr., her sisters; Mary Lou Barker, Vera Smith and Thelma Valore and her brothers; Robert W. Shoupe, Richard L. Shoupe and Dennis “Butch” G. Shoupe. Family will receive friends on Sunday, March 30, 2025 from 11:00 AM until time of services at 2:00 PM with Pastor Lynn Mance, officiating at Corridoni Funeral Services, Inc., 400 Indiana Ave., Avonmore, Pa. 15618. Interment will be at Westview Cemetery in Avonmore, Pa.
