Linda Lou (Mewherter) Casciere

Linda Lou Mewherter Casciere, 77, of Saltsburg, Pa. (Conemaugh Twp.) passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at UPMC Shadyside, Pittsburgh, Pa. She was born on Sunday, October 5, 1947, in Bradenville, Pa., the daughter of the late Ken and Rita “Sneakers” Mewherter. She enjoyed gardening, her floral gardens, sewing and crafting. Her family meant everything to her, and she loved them very much. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Michael McKay Casciere, her son, Brett Casciere of Saltsburg, her sister, Mary Rita and her husband, John of North Carolina and her brother, Edward Mewherter, of Mt. Pleasant, Pa.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Wendy Fox and her brother, John Mewherter. All funeral arrangements were private.
