Larry Paul Dornin

Lawrence (SLIM) Paul Dornin Sr., 72, of Penn, Pa., passed away on Monday, May 11, 2020. He was born on Friday, July 11, 1947 in Jeannette, Pa., the son of the late Paul C. and Dorothy Nixon  Dornin. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his baby daughter, Paula Maria Dornin. All who knew him would say he was a very special person and will miss him dearly. He was an auto mechanic by trade. He enjoyed motorcycles and racecars, (racing, watching and making them run faster). His passion was a challenging game of pool and teaching others the game. He is survived by his only son, Lawrence Paul Dornin Jr. of Penn, one granddaughter, Makayla R. Dornin and one great granddaughter, Cynthia J. Reese of Portland, Or., two brothers, Donald C. Dornin of Ca. and Theodore J. Dornin and his wife Gerri of Harrison City, Pa. and a sister, Suzanne R. Cutler of Westmoreland City, Pa. and several nieces and nephews. Due to health concerns and concerns for our families, funeral services are private. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
