Kimberly Sue McCain

Kimberly Sue McCain 65, of Apollo passed away on Friday August 1, 2025, at Forbes Hospital in Monroeville, Pa. She was born on Saturday October 10, 1959, in Apollo, Pa., the daughter of the late Carl D. and Ruby Rummel McCain. Before her retirement, Kim served many dedicated years as a school crossing guard for Apollo Borough at a very busy intersection- First Street and Pennsylvania Avenue. She loved the children she served, making sure of their general welfare and safety. Kimberly was an avid reader, enjoyed watching WWF wrestling and the Pittsburgh Steelers, but especially loved her cats.  She will always be remembered as a special sister who was also a best friend. She is survived by her siblings, Catherine R. McCain of Apollo and Dennis McCain and his wife Carol of North Apollo, and her Nephew Denny McCain Jr. of North Apollo. Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday August 13, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Riverview Cemetery, Apollo, Pennsylvania. Pastor Lee Rupert will officiate.
