Kevin Eugene Prunty

Kevin E. Prunty, 66, of Apollo, Pa. passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa. with his loving family by his side after a lengthy illness. He was the son of the late Robert and Virgina Kring Prunty. He was born on Friday, February 5, 1960 in Apollo, Pa. He attended Kiski Area High School until he began working as a truck driver at Unifirst. After leaving Unifirst in 2007, he began self-contracting jobs until he retired. He enjoyed fishing and was a strong-willed person. He is survived by his children, Joshua (Jerilyn) Prunty of North Carolina, Jessica (Mark) Lieu of East Vandergrift, Matthew (Katrina) Stripling of Leechburg and Nathan Stripling of Apollo. He is also survived by 6 grandsons, Paige, Hayden, Aaron Lieu, Gavin and Blake Prunty and Kanan Stripling. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his partner, Brenda Stripling. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Corridoni Funeral Services, Inc., 1916 Moore Ave., North Apollo, Pa. Additional viewing will be on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until time of services at 11:00 AM, Pastor Lee Rupert, officiating.
