Kenneth “Ken” E. Rumbaugh, 82, of Edmon, Pa. passed away on Monday, February 9, 2026 at Select Specialty Care in Latrobe, Pa. He was born on Wednesday, October 6, 1943, in Maysville, Pa. the son of the late Kenneth E. Rumbaugh Sr. and Grace N. Dunmire Rumbaugh Endress. He was employed at Reynolds Manufacturing in the maintenance department. He was a United States Army veteran having served in Vietnam. He enjoyed country music, especially George Jones. Ken liked going out to listen to live music. He enjoyed eating out and was a burger connoisseur. When able he enjoyed hunting. Ken was happiest spending time and socializing with family and friends at his bonfires that he hosted at his home. He always will be remembered for his generosity to everyone. Ken is survived by 2 sons, Michael Rumbaugh (Kara) of Apollo and Ken Rumbaugh Jr. and his husband, Dan of Columbus, Oh., 2 grandchildren, Michael Rumbaugh of Vandergrift and Victoria Rumbaugh of Saltsburg, his 2 sisters, Gayle Sofaly of Kepple Hill and Lisa Flick of Tinsmill and his 4 brothers, Barry Rumbaugh of Avonmore, James Rumbaugh of Avonmore, Joseph Endress of Clarksburg and David Endress and his wife, Patti of Saltsburg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Martha Mack, Dawn Hayes, Bonnie Elias, Judith Weister, Donna Shuster, Rose Ann Poloff and Sandra “Mawsy” Shannon and his brothers, Dale, Karl and Thomas Rumbaugh. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Joseph Carl Endress. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Corridoni Funeral Services, Inc., 400 Indiana Ave., Avonmore, Pa. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, February 12, 2026 in the funeral home at 11:00 AM with Pastor Bob Shallenberger, officiating. Interment will take place at Westview Cemetery in Avonmore, Pa.
